Corfe Castle Derelict Train Yard

This adventure was a beautiful spring morning. Warm with a hazy sun shinning through the majestic ruins of Corfe Castle. A picturesque wonderland of broken piles of metal, wood and rust. We were in our element. Streylock had been down to Norden station a few day earlier with his family and had chatted to a few of the volunteers on the platform. We knew of the old train dumping ground but not sure exactly how to get to it. One of the guys was very helpful and said as long as you put some hi-vis vests on and let us know you are going down there, then there wouldn’t be a problem. So on this advice we hurried on down there. To our wonder it was better than excepted and we sent pretty much the whole day clambering around rusty buckets of all manner of carriages, trailers, engines and side cars, railway sleepers and twisted metal. A really joyful day….. Dubman

Please note that I will be adding more photos when I come across them. This are what I have access to at the time being.
